DoubleZero is bringing real-time Kalshi political prediction-market data to its low-latency network, giving institutional traders and automated systems access to deeper election-market information ahead of the U.S. midterms.
The new Kalshi feed includes executed trades, top bid and ask prices, and aggregated order-book depth at different price levels, the DoubleZero Foundation said. The data is delivered through DoubleZero Edge over the project’s fiber network, allowing users to receive market information with minimal delay.
For professional traders, access to the full order book could provide more insight than headline probability figures alone. Detailed liquidity data can show how much trading activity supports a particular price and how quickly market participants reposition when fresh political or economic information reaches the market. That could make the data useful for trading strategies, hedging and risk management.
DoubleZero, based in the Cayman Islands, operates a contributor-powered fiber network built on Solana. Its infrastructure is designed to support applications such as blockchains, prediction markets and other distributed systems that require fast data transmission.
Kalshi operates as a federally regulated prediction-market exchange, allowing users to trade contracts tied to political, economic and other real-world outcomes.
Political Markets Gain Momentum
The Nov. 3 midterm elections will determine control of Congress for the final two years of President Donald Trump’s term. All 435 House seats and 33 Senate seats are scheduled to be contested.
Maintaining Republican control could give Trump greater room to advance his legislative priorities and secure confirmation of judicial and administration nominees. A Democratic majority could provide greater leverage to oppose legislation, launch congressional investigations and increase oversight of the White House.
DoubleZero co-founder Austin Federa said prediction markets are becoming an increasingly important source of real-time information, but their usefulness depends on how quickly traders can receive and act on market signals.
A delayed snapshot can quickly lose relevance when a debate, court ruling or breaking news event causes prices to move. Making Kalshi’s live order-book data available through DoubleZero Edge could allow professional traders and AI systems to react to those changes as they happen.
The development comes as trading activity around the 2026 midterm elections continues to expand.
More than $133 million had been wagered on 2026 House and Senate races across Kalshi, Polymarket and Polymarket US by Aug. 10, according to Anti-Corruption Data Collective figures cited by Reuters.
The figure had already surpassed the $92.4 million traded during the entire 2024 congressional election cycle, signaling growing interest in prediction markets as the midterm elections approach.
