Crypto Regains Momentum After Fed Decision: Key Events Ahead

The week of Sept. 21 is set to bring a mix of crypto, regulatory and macroeconomic developments for traders to monitor.

Bitcoin is entering the week close to $84,000 after recovering from the market reaction to last week’s Federal Reserve decision. The central bank raised its benchmark target rate to 4.00%, but crypto markets have so far absorbed the more hawkish policy signal without a major setback.

The economic calendar will pick up pace Wednesday and Thursday, with U.S. employment, housing and manufacturing-related data scheduled for release. Investors will also continue weighing the broader interest-rate outlook after recent policy decisions by the Bank of Japan and Bank of England.

In the digital-asset sector, the SEC’s tokenized securities pilot will be another major point of interest as the framework begins taking effect.
