This Week in Crypto: New CME and Uniswap Futures Meet Global PMI Data

The week starting October 19 features a busy lineup of crypto-market events, economic indicators, corporate earnings and blockchain governance votes. CME Group is scheduled to introduce standard and micro Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Uniswap (UNI) futures on Monday, subject to regulatory review. Meanwhile, CoinShares’ Bitcoin and Ether ETF is expected to suspend trading before Wednesday’s market open as the fund moves toward liquidation.

Investors will also be watching inflation reports from Canada, the United Kingdom and Japan, as well as preliminary October PMI readings from the United States and eurozone. These releases could provide fresh insight into economic momentum following last week’s U.S. inflation data.
