Brave Browser to Integrate Cardano’s Blockchain and Digital Assets

Brave Wallet to Add Cardano Blockchain and ADA Support in Major Update

Brave Wallet, the integrated crypto wallet of the privacy-oriented Brave browser, is set to expand its functionality by adding support for the Cardano blockchain. Users will soon be able to send, receive, and exchange ADA ($0.81776) as well as Cardano-based assets directly from the browser.

This move is part of Brave’s ongoing effort to enhance its multichain capabilities, which already include integration with Ethereum and Solana. The update, confirmed by Input Output (IO)—the team behind Cardano—will allow Brave users to engage with Cardano’s blockchain ecosystem without relying on external extensions or tools.

Once fully integrated, users will be able to access important governance features of the Cardano network, manage their assets, and sign transactions directly through Brave Wallet.

Charles Hoskinson, CEO of IO, framed this integration as a crucial step in supporting secure, privacy-focused on-chain interactions. He also noted its significance as Cardano enters the Voltaire era, which focuses on empowering decentralized governance.

Looking ahead, this update also prepares the ground for future developments with Midnight, IO’s blockchain initiative designed for privacy-conscious smart contracts and data protection.
