Strategy Adds 1,045 BTC in Latest Buy, Lifting Holdings to Over $62 Billion

Strategy, the Bitcoin-heavy tech firm chaired by Michael Saylor, increased its crypto reserves last week with the purchase of 1,045 bitcoin, valued at $110.2 million. The acquisition was disclosed in a filing with the U.S. SEC on Monday.

The coins were acquired at an average price of $105,426 per BTC, pushing Strategy’s total holdings to 582,000 BTC, acquired at an average of $70,086 per coin. At current market levels, the company’s Bitcoin position is worth more than $62.5 billion, cementing its role as the largest corporate holder of the asset.

The buy was funded through proceeds from Strategy’s ongoing preferred stock sales under the STRK and STRF programs.

As of Monday morning, MSTR shares edged up nearly 2% in premarket, tracking Bitcoin’s bounce above $107K.
