Aptos’ APT Jumps 4.5% as Trading Volume Surges, Establishes New Support Zones

Aptos’ native token, APT, rallied as much as 4.5% over the past 24 hours, propelled by a surge in trading activity that sent prices to fresh short-term highs.

According to CoinDesk Research’s technical analysis model, APT spiked sharply at 01:00 UTC, with volume soaring to 1.64 million tokens—a level 29% above the daily average. That burst of buying pushed prices from $4.97 to $5.06 within a single hour, establishing a new support floor around $4.96.

The rally continued through 04:00 UTC, peaking at $5.20, where resistance began to emerge as traders took profits on the move.

APT’s strength mirrored broader momentum in the crypto market, as the CoinDesk 20 index climbed 3.6% in recent sessions.

At last check, APT was trading around $5.135, still up about 3.2% over the past 24 hours.
