XRP and Solana Gain Momentum as ETF Hopes Build and Legal Landscape Shifts
XRP is once again in the spotlight, driven by renewed ETF optimism and strengthening institutional interest in the wake of Ripple’s partial legal victory earlier this year. Although current ETF exposure is limited to futures — such as ProShares’ UXRP — analysts suggest a spot product could spark a fresh wave of inflows, particularly if the SEC maintains its more lenient stance post-March ruling.
“XRP is regaining market momentum as renewed ETF speculation intersects with increasing legal clarity,” said Jamie Elkaleh, CMO of Bitget Wallet. “This shift is boosting market depth and signaling a structural step forward for XRP’s legitimacy in U.S. markets.”
XRP briefly surged past $3.60 this week before retracing to around $3.09, following over $100 million in long liquidations and a controversial $175 million token transfer linked to Ripple co-founder Chris Larsen. Despite the volatility, analysts remain bullish.
“Legal clarity and ETF buzz are strong catalysts,” said Ryan Lee, Chief Analyst at Bitget Research. “If current momentum holds, a move to the $3.50–$4 range is realistic in the near term.”
Solana is also benefiting from similar tailwinds. Trading near $197, SOL is being bolstered by ecosystem expansion and ETF discussions. Analysts say a breakout toward $200–$250 is possible if adoption continues and sentiment remains supportive.
“ETF conversations around SOL are further amplifying interest,” Elkaleh added. “With a more favorable regulatory tone in the U.S., sentiment for both XRP and SOL continues to improve.”
Risks remain — particularly from broader macroeconomic shifts or unexpected regulatory tightening — but improving liquidity and rising institutional flows are fueling optimism. Even futures-based ETFs are proving to be a gateway for capital, bridging interest from both retail and institutional investors.
The next phase for both tokens, analysts say, may depend less on headlines — and more on sustained inflows matching market expectations.
