Strategy Boosts Bitcoin Holdings by $1.42B With Latest Acquisition

Strategy (MSTR) has added an impressive $1.42 billion worth of Bitcoin to its reserves, purchasing 15,355 BTC in its latest move. This brings the total amount of Bitcoin held by the company to 553,555 BTC, now valued at approximately $52 billion, based on Bitcoin’s current market value of $95,000.

This acquisition was financed through funds raised from two recent at-the-market (ATM) stock offerings. Strategy raised over $4 million by selling around 435,000 shares of its preferred stock (series STRK) along with a small quantity of Class A common stock. As of now, just $128.7 million remains available under the common stock ATM program, a small fraction of the original $21 billion approved in October 2024.

Following the purchase, MSTR shares rose by 1.5% in pre-market trading, mirroring a slight increase in Bitcoin’s price since the previous Friday.
