Filecoin Rebounds Steadily After Sharp Mid-Session Price Swings

Filecoin Rebounds with Strong Volume as Market Sentiment Improves

Filecoin (FIL) posted a resilient recovery on Thursday, bouncing back from intraday lows amid a broader uptick in the crypto market, which saw the CoinDesk 20 Index climb 3.1%.

According to CoinDesk Research’s technical analysis model, FIL traded within a tight 5.4% range over the past 24 hours, showcasing measured volatility. The asset dropped to a session low of $2.39 around 16:00 but rebounded 5% in a classic V-shaped recovery to close near $2.50.

Notably, trading volumes surged above 2.8 million FIL during the correction, suggesting increased institutional activity. Continued high volume into the recovery phase signaled what analysts described as “sophisticated buying” at key technical levels, pointing to growing interest from strategic participants.

Technically, momentum shifted upward after 19:00, sustaining through the overnight session. A spike in volume exceeding 50,000 units between 10:06 and 10:07 further validated institutional engagement, with market strategists citing this as a potential indicator of broader enterprise adoption.

Supporting sentiment, the Filecoin Foundation and Ava Labs announced the launch of a native cross-chain data bridge between Avalanche’s C-Chain and the Filecoin network. This integration connects Avalanche’s high-speed smart contract ecosystem to Filecoin’s decentralized storage infrastructure via the Filecoin Virtual Machine, potentially expanding the use cases of both platforms.

As of the latest session, FIL was trading around $2.50, up 2% over 24 hours, outperforming many peers as the market rallied across major tokens.
