Kraken Survey Finds Most Dual-Asset Investors Expect Crypto to Outperform Stocks in the Next 10 Years

Kraken Survey: Most Dual-Asset Investors Expect Crypto to Outperform Stocks Over Next Decade

A recent survey from crypto exchange Kraken reveals that a significant majority of investors holding both cryptocurrencies and stocks believe digital assets will outpace equities in growth over the next 10 years.

Surveying over 1,000 U.S. adults, Kraken found that 65% of dual-asset investors expect crypto to deliver stronger returns than stocks in the coming decade, while just 35% favored equities.

Nearly 70% of respondents plan to increase their cryptocurrency allocations within the next year, with men showing greater enthusiasm than women (74% compared to 59%).

Over the past year, many investors have seen digital assets outperform traditional stocks, with 42% reporting better returns from their crypto holdings versus 31% who experienced stronger equity performance.

Confidence in crypto is rising as well—61% of those surveyed say their trust in digital assets has grown, compared to 53% for stocks.

Crypto is also gaining traction as a “crisis trade”: when asked where they would deploy new capital amid global uncertainty, 33% chose crypto, followed by 20% for equities and 19% opting for cash.

Mark Greenberg, Kraken’s global head of consumer, commented that the data signals a fundamental shift in how portfolios are built.

“Investors holding both assets are no longer viewing crypto as a speculative gamble but as a core driver of growth,” he said.

These findings come as exchanges like Kraken continue to bridge traditional finance and digital assets by offering stock trading alongside cryptocurrencies, underscoring the growing convergence between the two markets.
