MARA Holdings Appoints Ex-Blue River Exec as Chief Product Officer to Drive Tech Expansion

Bitcoin mining firm MARA Holdings (MARA) has named Nir Rikovitch as its new Chief Product Officer, tasking him with leading the company’s technological growth and commercial strategy.

In his new role, Rikovitch will oversee the development of a comprehensive product roadmap and help build a stronger connection between MARA’s engineering teams and evolving market needs.

“Nir’s impressive background in product leadership and autonomous technology, where orchestration, efficiency, and reliability are critical, makes him the perfect fit to advance MARA’s product vision,” said Fred Thiel, CEO of MARA Holdings.

Rikovitch brings significant experience in machine learning and robotics. Prior to joining MARA, he served as Director of Product Management at Blue River, a subsidiary of John Deere, where he co-founded the autonomy division and worked on strategies for autonomous construction equipment and driver-assistance technologies.

Reflecting on his new role, Rikovitch highlighted MARA’s focus on sustainable innovation. “At MARA, we’re combining scale with smarter energy practices to align technological progress with efficient energy use,” he said.
