Michael Saylor’s Strategy Boosts Bitcoin Holdings by 6,220 BTC, Now Holding 607,770 BTC Valued at $72 Billion

Michael Saylor’s Strategy increased its Bitcoin stack by 6,220 coins during the week ending July 20, bringing its total holdings to 607,770 BTC. The latest acquisitions were made at an average price of $118,940 per Bitcoin, amounting to a total investment of approximately $740 million.

At Bitcoin’s current price, just above $118,000, Strategy’s Bitcoin portfolio is valued around $72 billion. The coins were originally purchased at an average price of $71,756 each, with total acquisition costs totaling $43.6 billion.

The company financed last week’s Bitcoin purchases primarily through the sale of $736.4 million in common stock, along with an additional $4 million raised through modest sales of its three preferred stock issuances.

Following the news, Strategy’s shares saw a 1.9% increase in premarket trading.
