Circle’s stock soared during its debut on the New York Stock Exchange, reaching an intraday high of $103.75—about 50% above its $69 opening price. The shares closed at $83.23 on Thursday, a substantial jump from the IPO price of $31.

Cathie Wood’s ARK Invest made a significant purchase on Circle’s first day of trading, acquiring nearly 4.5 million shares valued at approximately $373 million based on the closing price. This move adds Circle (CRCL) to ARK’s growing portfolio of crypto-related firms, which already includes Coinbase (COIN), Robinhood (HOOD), and Block (XYZ).

Meanwhile, ARK reduced its positions in other crypto stocks, selling $39 million worth of Coinbase shares, $18.5 million of Robinhood, and $10.4 million of Block.

The St. Petersburg, California-based investment firm continues to actively adjust its exposure to leading companies within the digital asset ecosystem.
