Semler Scientific Expands Bitcoin Portfolio with $88.5M Purchase of 871 BTC

Semler Scientific (SMLR) has added 871 BTC to its holdings, spending $88.5 million, funded by proceeds from its senior convertible notes offering in January 2025. The company paid an average price of $101,616 per bitcoin for this acquisition.

With this new purchase, Semler’s total bitcoin holdings now amount to 3,192 BTC, at a total investment of $280.4 million, with an average price of $87,854 per bitcoin.

The firm also reported a 152.2% yield on its BTC investments, reflecting the percentage change in bitcoin holdings relative to its full-diluted shares outstanding over the period.
