Semler Scientific Expands Bitcoin Treasury With New Purchase, Now Nears $500M in BTC

Semler Scientific Boosts Bitcoin Holdings to 4,449 BTC With $20M Buy

Semler Scientific (SMLR) has purchased an additional 185 bitcoin for approximately $20 million, continuing its aggressive accumulation strategy. The latest acquisition, completed in the 10 days ending June 3, was executed at an average price of $107,974 per BTC.

The company’s total bitcoin holdings now stand at 4,449 BTC, valued at about $467 million based on current prices near $105,000. Semler’s total investment cost is $410 million, implying an average cost basis of $92,158 per coin.

The purchases have been funded through proceeds from the firm’s $500 million at-the-market equity offering, launched on April 15. As of June 3, Semler had raised $136.2 million from the sale of 3.5 million shares.

Despite strong returns on its bitcoin position — with a 26.7% gain year-to-date — Semler’s stock remains under pressure, down 35% in 2025. Shares were little changed in early premarket trading on Tuesday.
