Strategy Expands Bitcoin Holdings with $285 Million Purchase, Totaling 531,644 BTC

Strategy (MSTR) has made another significant move in its bitcoin strategy, acquiring 3,459 BTC for a total of $285.8 million. This purchase raises the company’s total bitcoin holdings to 531,644 BTC, as reported in a recent regulatory filing.

The latest acquisition was made at an average price of $82,618 per bitcoin, bringing the cumulative cost of its bitcoin holdings to $35.92 billion, with an average purchase price of $67,556 per BTC.

To fund this latest buy, Strategy sold shares of common stock, and the company’s stock price has risen by 1% in premarket trading, mirroring the stable performance of bitcoin, which is holding steady above $84,000.
