Bitcoin and Crypto Traders Await U.S. Jobs Report After Recent Rally

Crypto markets head into the week starting Sept. 28 after a strong run, with bitcoin easing as traders prepare for several closely watched U.S. economic releases.

Bitcoin has fallen about 1% since Friday and more than 2% over the past 24 hours, moving back from the $84,000 level.

The market is digesting the recent advance after last week’s hawkish Federal Reserve decision pushed the benchmark target rate to 4%. Attention now turns to economic data that could provide further clues about the path of monetary policy.

The week includes readings on U.S. housing prices, economic growth, inflation, jobless claims and manufacturing. Investors are also assessing global monetary policy after recent rate decisions from the Bank of Japan and Bank of England.
