Metaplanet Expands Bitcoin Holdings to 2,100 BTC, Acquires 68 More

Metaplanet (3350) has increased its Bitcoin reserves to 2,100 BTC, securing 0.01% of the total 21 million Bitcoin supply. The company recently purchased 68.59 BTC for $6.6 million at an average price of $96,335 per coin.

Analyst Dylan Le Clair noted that Metaplanet has raised $20 million in equity capital within just two days of launching its “21 Million Plan.” In addition, the firm announced a 10-for-1 stock split scheduled for April 1, reversing a 1-for-10 split executed eight months ago.

Metaplanet shares have risen over 1% in today’s trading session, currently priced at 6,260 JPY.
