Semler Scientific Boosts Bitcoin Reserves Past 3,300 BTC After $10M Acquisition

Semler Scientific (NASDAQ: SMLR) has strengthened its Bitcoin position, purchasing an additional 111 BTC at an average price of $90,124, the company announced on Thursday. The acquisition was financed through proceeds from an at-the-market equity offering alongside cash on hand.

With the latest addition, Semler’s total Bitcoin holdings have reached 3,303 BTC, representing a cumulative investment of approximately $290.4 million.

However, the company’s year-to-date bitcoin yield — a metric tracking the growth of bitcoin holdings relative to its fully diluted share count — has declined to 23.5%, down sharply from 152.2% in February.

Shares of Semler Scientific have struggled despite the Bitcoin accumulation strategy, falling 36.92% since the beginning of the year.
