
Strategy has returned to the Bitcoin market after pausing purchases for nearly two months, marking its first BTC acquisition since late June.
The Michael Saylor-led firm purchased 4,603 BTC last week for approximately $369.7 million, with each Bitcoin costing an average of $80,318.
The company raised $602.8 million through common-stock sales to fund the purchase, according to a Monday release. Strategy directed $151.8 million toward buying back STRC preferred stock, with the remaining funds added to its cash holdings.
Strategy now owns 845,050 BTC following the latest purchase. Its total investment in Bitcoin stands at about $63.73 billion, giving the company an average acquisition price of $75,412 per BTC.
MSTR shares were up 1.65% before the market opened, while Bitcoin traded near $78,400, edging slightly above Friday’s late-session price.
