Trump Media Eyes Crypto.com as Partner for New ETP Offering

Trump Media Eyes Crypto.com Partnership for ETP and ETF Offerings

DJT shares climb 9% after-hours on the announcement.

Trump Media (DJT), the company behind Truth Social, is exploring a partnership with cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com to launch a series of exchange-traded products (ETPs) and funds (ETFs), the firm disclosed on Monday.

The new financial instruments will incorporate a combination of crypto assets and traditional securities, particularly from the energy sector. Crypto.com will handle key technical aspects, including custody, liquidity provisioning, and blockchain infrastructure.

Trump Media aims to roll out these investment products in 2025, according to the official statement.

This move follows a string of crypto-related ventures linked to Trump and his allies, including NFT collections, memecoins, and the decentralized finance (DeFi) initiative, World Liberty Financial (WLFI).

Investor enthusiasm pushed DJT stock up over 9% in extended trading.
