XRP Price Prediction: XRP Risks Further Losses as $1 Support Holds

XRP is hovering around $1.01 after falling about 0.6% over the past 24 hours. The token has remained trapped between $1.00 and $1.02, indicating that buyers have yet to establish a convincing recovery. At the same time, a recent bridge exploit has added another source of uncertainty for XRP traders.

The Coreum-XRP bridge was reportedly exploited for roughly 200,000 XRP after an attacker allegedly used a fake deposit to initiate unauthorized withdrawals. The incident resulted in an emergency suspension of the bridge and reportedly brought the matter to the attention of the FBI.

Beyond the security issue, investors are keeping an eye on September and October for possible progress on the CLARITY Act. Developments surrounding the legislation could become a significant catalyst for XRP, potentially influencing market sentiment in either direction.

For now, the wider cryptocurrency market remains range-bound as traders wait for clearer regulatory signals. XRP is displaying a similar pattern, with limited volatility and subdued trading activity suggesting that investors are reluctant to make aggressive bets.

At roughly $1.012, XRP remains below its key moving averages. The 7-day, 20-day, 50-day and 200-day SMAs are currently near $1.03, $1.06, $1.08 and $1.31, respectively. Their position above the current price reinforces the token’s bearish technical setup.

Trading volume has also declined. XRP recorded approximately $885 million in daily volume, compared with $905 million the previous day, indicating weaker participation as the market waits for a fresh catalyst.

XRP Price Prediction: Bullish vs. Bearish Outlook

A potential bullish setup could emerge if the Stochastic indicator turns higher from oversold conditions while XRP tests the lower Bollinger Band. That combination could encourage short sellers to cover and lift XRP toward $1.05. Positive CLARITY Act developments could add further momentum, while longer-term projections continue to identify the $1.50-$1.55 area as a possible target.

The neutral scenario would see XRP remain between $1.00 and $1.05 as investors wait for greater clarity surrounding the legislation.

On the bearish side, a decisive break below $1.00 could significantly weaken the current structure. Such a move could send XRP toward the lower $0.90s and challenge the argument that buyers are accumulating around current levels.

Although XRP holders have defended the $1.00 area since November 2025, another bounce from this level would not necessarily signal a sustained reversal. The token still needs to reclaim its major moving averages to improve its technical outlook.

Breaking above $1.05 could provide an initial bullish signal, but XRP would still face major resistance near $1.31, where its 200-day SMA is located. Because of XRP’s large market capitalization, traders seeking larger percentage gains may increasingly look toward smaller infrastructure-focused projects.
