Nearly $1B Flows Into Spot Bitcoin ETFs in 9th-Biggest Day on Record

Spot bitcoin ETFs in the U.S. saw nearly $1 billion in net new money Monday as bitcoin climbed to its highest price since January.

Bitcoin traded around $85,990.84 as ETF demand accelerated, with investor inflows reaching levels associated with periods when BTC was trading close to its all-time highs.

Data from SoSoValue showed the ETFs recorded $998.95 million in combined net inflows on Monday. It was the biggest one-day inflow since Oct. 6, 2025, when bitcoin reached a record price of roughly $126,200.

Monday’s total was also the ninth-largest daily inflow since spot bitcoin ETFs began trading on Jan. 11, 2024. BlackRock’s IBIT attracted $381.37 million, making it the largest contributor, while Ark’s ARKB received $289.12 million and Fidelity’s FBTC added $238.84 million.

The latest inflows marked three consecutive days of positive ETF flows, extending the streak for the first time in two weeks. The buying came shortly after bitcoin faced two major catalysts: the Senate’s failed cloture vote on the CLARITY Act and the Federal Reserve’s decision to raise interest rates.

Spot bitcoin ETFs have now recorded $1.31 billion in net inflows so far this month, following $3.52 billion in August. The continued demand comes despite persistent macroeconomic uncertainty, including concerns about rising fiscal debt across developed economies.

Bitcoin has gained 44% this quarter and is trading near $85,000, placing its quarterly performance ahead of other major assets, including gold.

However, the recent inflows have not completely erased earlier losses. Spot bitcoin ETFs remain down $450 million on a year-to-date basis.
